Every week, EC Montreal takes the time to meet with our departing students. We want to know how they felt about their EC experience and what we could have done to improve their stay. We take this feedback and discuss it with the rest of the EC team. We look at ways to improve their learning experience and how we can better meet our clients’ demands.
This week we met with students from Switzerland, Germany, Mexico and Colombia. This is what they had to say about their EC experience.

Although the placement test does not seem to be very useful, the teachers are competent. I think that what you learn most about at EC is more than languages but making new contacts with people from all around the world What is much more precious than learning the language you come here for is meeting new friends and learning about other cultures.

I loved the atmosphere and the polite teachers. I am here for one week to refresh my French skills. I learned a lot at the school. I learned that much more again.

I chose to come to EC Montreal because I always wanted to visit Canada. I made a lot of new friends and learned a little bit of French. I improved a little. My favorite EC Montreal activity was the New York City trip. I loved that trip! I really enjoyed the lessons on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. They were perfectly organized. The other days, I did not enjoy as much. I liked my accommodation. I liked my room, the French talks with the host family. I would recommend EC to a friend. I made friends from Mexico, France, Italy, Colombia, Canada and Switzerland.

This is my first time at EC Montreal. I think it is a good academy for English because the staff is friendly and all the time you have extra activities. Besides, you can do a one-week course. This is good because if you are a tourist, you can know the city and come back to study another week.

I chose Montreal because here there are not so many Swiss or German speaking students in English classes. It was more a refresher class after seven years without English i my life. I improved my speaking and discussion skills. I would recommend EC to a friend. I made friends from Switzerland, Italy, Colombia and Mexico. I will remember the most this cool city and the people.

All in all I had a good experience at EC Montreal. The host family was great, the school staff is friendly and the school facilities are nice. The lessons were good for the most part, although a bit repetitive at times. I would have liked to have more discussions, games, interactive activities. The stay at EC helped to improve my French adn I reached the goals I set for myself.

I have enjoyed my experience here at EC Montreal. I must admit that it has been hard to learn French but every time I am corrected by the teacher, I feel better because that means I am learning. I was able to meet new people inside and outside the school and I will cherish the moment I spent with them.
