We are delighted to introduce you to EC Montreal’s new student ambassador; Felipe Bueno Mota. Felipe began his language adventure at EC Montreal on December 9, 2019. He is registered in our General French programme until February 28, 2020. The General French programme consists of 20 Lessons of instruction per week. Felipe started at our beginner level and is progressing nicely. He has already achieved the elementary level. We are so proud of his achievements.
Felipe approached us to become a student ambassador. We are confident he will do a marvelous job at welcoming our new students and ensuring that everyone has a friend at EC. Here is a little something from Felipe:
“Hello, my name is Felipe and I am from Brazil, I recently paused my graduation in Public Relations so I could come to Montréal to study french and add one more experience to my curriculum. During my stay in the city, and especially in the school, I learned to love talking with other people and exchanging life stories. One of the reasons why I felt so safe doing that was because of the student ambassadors, who were there to support me and the other students since my first day in the school.
I could go on and on about the reasons why I want to become a student ambassador, between them, the fact that I want to meet more people, or the fact that I always want to push myself to be the best possible version of me, by being kind to others or by putting myself in tough situations where I will be forced to use knowledge I don’t usually exercise. But without a doubt my main reason is the admiration I developed for the people I met here, I want others to feel welcomed and safe as I did, be with the other students in the school’s activities and help maintain the atmosphere that I know and love.”
