Carlos Leon is a student from Chile participating in EC Montreal’s Intensive English programme. He is a returning student who studied with us for five months in 2019. This is what he wanted to share with everyone about his EC virtual experience:
First of all, anyone of us could imagine this awful pandemic, is a mess, so for that I made the difficult decision to return to Chile. In my opinion one of the most important thing when you are studying English is the interaction with the classmates, so really I think that have online classes there or in my country is almost the same, therefore I returned because here I feel safer and also because is cheaper.
Secondly, I have an amazing experience in EC Montreal, I really enjoy studying there, the staff is very professional and the class are very dynamic and exigent as well, so I think that the school always give us the tools to develop our skills in the best way. On the other hand, the online classes are different, is not the preferred option to learn and improve English, however our class with Olga is very dynamic and efficient, so I’m glad for these reasons. Our teacher is super enthusiastic, she is always doing her best, also Olga is very clear to explain difficult issues and she is really motivated. Thus, it is a pleasure have class with her,I feel comfortable in Olga´s class because I can improve my English every day!
