On Wednesday, November 14th, EC San Diego had its monthly Academic Year (AY) Lecture given by Teacher Amaal on “Homelessness in America”. The students had wonderful feedback on the lecture and said that it was very informative.
These lectures help to prepare the students for note taking skills that they may need either for their careers or in there future university studies. The lecture was broken up into two sessions, one for the lower-level students, and one for the higher levels. Teacher Amaal gave a great rounded view of the variety of reasons that lead to people becoming homeless. The two sessions were attended by 35 AY students and one class of Advanced Cambridge.
