Sunday May 15th was the 100th running of San Francisco’s famous “Bay to Breakers” footrace. The Bay to Breakers 12k is one of the world’s largest footraces, held annually in San Francisco, California. There were more than 55,000 runners and walkers this year.The 7.46 mile (12 kilometer) race features world-class athletes in addition to costumed runners and ‘fun-loving’ folks out for a great day of running and walking through San Francisco. This race crossed the most popular neighborhoods of San Francisco, so it is a good way to discover the city.Many students and staff of EC San Francisco participated at this big and crazy race and the big outdoor party that followed.
