Here is an interview to Camila Munoz Rico, from Venezuela. Camila has been studying in EC since last September, and now is in Upper-Intermidiate class. She introduced some keys to enjoy EC and learning English in Toronto.
-Why did you choose EC Toronto?
Toronto is very multicultural city compared to my city. Actually, while preparing for this travel, I had two options about schools, EC or another one. But I heard that EC had a certificate from Canadian Government, it meant they admit EC was a good school. That’s a big reason I’ve chosen this school.
-What did you like most about EC teachers and classes?
We can have a good relationship with teachers. We can get a feedback whenever we ask them or just talk with them after classes. Talking of classes, it’s like a culture-shock, for example, talking with classmates from Saudi arabia or Japan is very fresh for me. Also we are in Canada, where there are various nationalities’ people, so we can talk only in English and practice it.
-Which experience you will never forget at EC?
To mention only about one thing is quite hard, but when I went to Montreal and Quebec with TNT tour, a tourism agency in EC, it was wonderful, I’ve never been in such a cold days though. It was a really good adventure and I’ve enjoyed many new things. I’ve been staying apart from my family but the people I’ve met here is like another family so it helps me a lot.
-What did you like most about your homestay?
My home stay family is so lovely, especially my host mother is fantastic. For example, I went shopping and sightseeing around a city with her on the first day I arrived at Toronto. In addition, I don’t have any rules at home, so it’s pretty comfortable.
– Would you recommend EC to a friend?
Yes, after finish class, I can meet my friends in a robby, I heard that it rarely happens in other school. That means EC has a good atmosphere for students.
Thank you so much Camila. There is no other luck like meeting great home stay family!
Let’s enjoy learning English in Toronto together!
