Bang Bang Ice Cream and Bakery

When you pass by this ice cream joint, you’ll often see line ups out the door. If you’re craving an ice cream sandwich, Bang Bang won’t disappoint. You choose an ice cream flavor to be wedged between one or two cookies. The result is one of the best ice cream sandwiches you’ll ever have. Half a sandwich (one cookie) is $4.50; a full sandwich (two full cookies) will run you $7.
Carter’s Ice Cream

If you’re looking for a range of ice cream flavours and tons of delicious toppings, Carter’s Ice Cream is the place to go. Carter’s sells Kawartha Dairy Ice cream and looks like an old fashioned ice cream parlour.
Dessert Lady Café
12 Cumberland Street
If you’re looking for a dairy-free, vegan option, check out Desert Lady Café. The popular Yorkville Ice Cream destination offers up to 18 flavours that they rotate on a weekly basis. Each flavour is made with all-natural ingredients and the sorbets don’t contain any eggs, dairy, or gluten.
Dutch Dreams
78 Vaughan Road
If you’re in the mood for homemade waffle cones and ice cream, try Dutch Dreams. This eclectically-decorated ice cream shop is family owned and has been in Toronto for almost 30 years. The 40 ice cream flavors are rotated frequently and the toppings are endless.
