Boxing Day is one of the most popular shopping day of the year. Boxing Day is upon us and arrives on December 26th and sales usually continue throughout the week.

Traditionally, Boxing Day is the day after Christmas Day, when the servants got gifts from their employers, known as a “Christmas box”. People also spent more time with their family. They just relaxed during the day and before the New Years celebrations arrive.

Today, Boxing Day is known as the Shopping Holiday. Since it is a federal holiday, EC Vancouver is closed.

You can find really good deals, especially one electrical appliances. Stores downtown and especially on Robson Street will be full of discount sales and packed with people. Shoppers even wait in front of the stores until they open, which is usually before the normal time.

The best thing that you can do is go early in the morning or late in the evening.

Enjoy your shopping!
