Judith joined us from Switzerland and had a great experience in Canada, here is her story:
I´ve visited so many nice places here and I have done so many activities. The best one was the Rocky Mountains tour that I did with Club ESL. We did it at the end of April and I will never forget the stunning views and endless nature there. In Germany, it is not possible to drive for two hours and see nothing but trees, lakes and mountains. We visited a lot of lakes, like the famous Lake Louise, a glacier, Banff and a lot of national parks. We had an awesome tour guide and the people I did the tour with made it really fun. After this tour I wished I could buy a house at one of the lakes and just stay there and enjoy the landscape forever: D
I also visited Victoria but not with Club ESL but on my own with some friends. Alone the ferry cruise to Victoria Island was awesome. Beautiful landscape. Victoria itself is a nice city but I like Vancouver more. The highlight of this tour was definitely the whale watching tour. We saw some killer whales, dolphins and had an awesome time on this speedboat.
Whistler was one of the last tours I did. We did it on our own and rented a car for a day. Again, I wished I could have stayed there and bought a house somewhere around that area. For someone like me, who loves skiing and mountain biking it was like paradise. We wanted to do the peak to peak gondola but the weather was quite bad and we would have been in the clouds with nothing to see so we didn´t do it. We played some miniature golf and did a little hike to one of the lakes that are there. Again, it was the stunning landscape and the awesome people who made this trip unforgettable.
In addition, I also did all of the activities that are available around Vancouver: Deep Cove, Linn Valley, Grouse Mountain, Coal Harbour, bike riding in Stanley Park, English Bay, Gastown, Vancouver Aquarium and many more things.
