Alicia is a French student who graduated from EC this year. This is her story:
Studying at EC
My experience studying in EC Vancouver was really amazing ! When i first arrived I wondered how it would be to have English lessons at the school. I was scared about being bored or having so much homework that I wouldn’t have the time to go sightseeing…
I was pleasantly surprised by my dynamic and playful core classes. All of the teachers that I had were always happy, kind and attentive! The atmosphere in the classes was joyful. Everybody was happy to have class together, and there was no competition between students. Of course, we sometimes had some homework to do, but it was never too much, and it was really useful. I will never forget the time I spent in Vancouver, thanks to all of the people who made it wonderful. Thank you for everything EC!
Advice for French students
My advice for future students is to really enjoy their time in Vancouver, because it is really amazing to have the chance to study in Canada, even for a short time. So do as many activities as you can outside, but don’t forget that you are there to improve your English too! Don’t try to find people from your own country. Speak with new people and learn about their cultures. This is the only kind of school where you can meet people from all around the world, so don’t waste that opportunity.
