We offer English classes for adult students of all ages; the minimum age for a course at EC Dublin is 16 years old.

General English
General English is our most popular language course. In these English classes, you will improve your real-life communication skills and feel confident using English for everyday situations. Choose from these two options of interactive lessons:

General English 20 (20 classes per week/ 15 hours per week)

General English 30 (30 classes per week/ 22.5 hours per week)

English in the City
English in the City is available in the summer and combines English lessons with excursions to interesting places around Dublin to put into practice what you have learnt in your lesson. One-to-One lessons
You can combine any group course at our Dublin English school with One-to-One private English lessons. Lessons are 60 minutes long, and you can take them at any time during your course. Having your own private teacher is a great way to progress quickly.

Adults ages 30 and above can choose adult English courses at EC Dublin 30+, our English school exclusively for mature students. EC Dublin 30+ provides an exceptional adult learning experience for learners of all English levels with new courses starting every week. O’Connell Street is Dublin’s most famous street. There is a lot to see and do here.

If you drink alcohol (and you are old enough), you must try a pint of Guinness during your English course in Dublin. Guinness is a true symbol of Ireland and you should try a pint of “the black stuff’ where it is made: Guinness Storehouse at St. James’s Gate. If you prefer something stronger, you can visit the Jameson Distillery, where you can see how Ireland’s most famous whiskey is made.

St Stephens’ Green is the oldest public park in Ireland and is conveniently located in the city centre. Phoenix Park is bigger but a few kilometres from the city centre. This is the perfect place to enjoy some quiet time in nature, relax on the grass or go for a long bike ride.
