Earth Day is a worldwide holiday that takes place on April 22. It is a day to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth’s environment. Earth Day was officially established in 1970 and is now celebrated in more than 192 countries every year!
One of the eco-friendly initiatives we are trying to take at EC Boston are water bottles. Did you know that if you buy just one cup of coffee or tea in a disposable cup every day, you’ll end up creating about 23 lbs of waste in one year! Reusable tumblers can be used at least 3,000 times on average, creating an enormous eco-positive impact. Check out all the EC students and staff with their reusable bottles!
