The Royal Pavilion

Sharing is caring!

Have you visited Brighton’s famous Royal Pavilion yet?? Built in the early 19th Century for the Prince Regent, George IV, the Pavilion is one of Brighton’s most beautiful attractions.  The town was considered an extremely fashionable place to live or spend time, and the Prince had the Pavilion built there as a holiday retreat, so that he could stay in Brighton and enjoy himself.  The inside of the building draws clear influence from Oriental culture at the time, and every room is lavishly decorated  – the Dining Room and the Music Room are particularly beautiful!

The Royal Pavilion is open every day, 10am-5.15pm. For more information, visit www.brighton-hove-rpml.org.uk/RoyalPavilion
