Many of our host families have hosted students for many years and enjoy sharing experiences and learning about each other’s countries and cultures. Robert and Shelley West in this picture are one of them and here they are having dinner with some of our EC Brighton students. For them, this is a wonderful way to connect with people from all over the world. They really put the effort in so that our students feel as if they are a part of their family.
Even though many students prefer to be more independent, there is no doubt that living with a host family is the best way to get involved in the British culture.
