Gustav is our new intern from Sweden. He will be with us for 7 weeks and we look forward to working with him!
“My name is Gustav and I will work here at EC Brighton as a Student Services Intern for the next seven weeks. I am 18 years old and I am from Sweden. My internship is done through my Business and Economics education back home in Sweden. The reason I am here is to get a broader understanding of how to run businesses, as well as improving my English language.
As for most of you students everything is very new to me at this stage. I have not really got that much time to explore Brighton yet. But from what I have seen I can tell, like pretty much all the others, Brighton is a really beautiful city. What I like the most is that it is by the sea, it provides the city with lots of light and nice fresh air. Since it is quite small, compared to bigger cities like London, it is quite easy to navigate in the city. After three days I am already pretty comfortable finding places.
Back home in Sweden I work as a salesman at IKEA, you know the big Swedish furniture company? During my spare time I like hanging out with my friends, partying, sailing, and I also do work out quite a lot, mostly running.
I am very excited to be here and I am sure I will have a great time at EC Brighton. If you see me in school and you want to ask me something do not hesitate, I will help you the best I can!
