Hello all!
As you probably know punting runs here at EC Cambridge and is free to all English Language Students. To help you make the most of it, here are a few points to keep in mind.
– There is a six person maximum per Punt (boat)
– Two people per punt must be willing to be the chauffer (it is “self hire” so although EC will pay to hire the punt, this doesnt cover a chauffer as well)
– You have one hour on the river so please start to make your way back after 25minutes as it is harder to return (this is because you are pushing against the current of the river)
– The Punt cannot turn over, it has been built with a flat bottom
– If you bring any valuables with you thn be aware that there wont be a secure place on dry land for you to leave them
