Nights out at EC Cambridge

Fancy getting your dancing shoes on? Well here is a couple of places you can go for a boogey or a relaxing drink after a week of English Language Lessons. Renacimiento – International Mondays.  Four floors of music, 3 DJs and a video DJ. Ground floor houses Hiphop and Urban. In the main room and on the balcony you have euro dance and international. And if you like the Latin side of music head for the penthouse room. Ballare – International Thursdays. Two rooms of music. Main floor, residents and guests. eurodance and International. The VIP room is home to International and Latin. So if you fancy letting your hair down, these are just two of the many clubs and bars in Cambridge. Have fun!

Hi all A lot of the blogs we post are for current English language students and students coming to study English at EC Cambridge. However this blog is aimed at students who have left EC Cambridge to move on to new jobs and studies etc. At EC Cambridge we love to know what you think about your time here. We want to know what you thought about your English Language classes, your english teachers, the activity program and your accommodation at EC if you used it. Excursions in November

Wed 3rd London Theatre – Les Miserables & Mamma Mia Spend an evening in London and chose from one of these two great musicals: Victor Hugo’s French masterpiece or the record breaking show based on the music of Abba. Computer Room Late Night

Hi all Don’t forget that every Tuesday the Computer Room is open from 08:30 until 19:30 instead of 17:00. This is a great opportunity to get that bit of homework or studying done for your English Language Classes!

Football Update

We have a limited number of tickets available for England Vs France At Wembley. Cost is £48.00 which includes travel to and from Wembley and of course the match ticket! Book with Mike in the computer room and hurry has places will fill up fast!

This weekend excursions!!!!

This weekend Travelsight offers two great trips to Stratford & Warwick Castle and York! Stratford is the birth place of the infamous writer William Shakespeare! We see the house where he was born and the church where he is now buried!  In the afternoon, we visit Warwick Castle, one of the oldest and most famous of the English Castles. £30.00 We also visit York One of the most famous and fantastic of the Noethern English Cities! £30.00 For more information or to book your place, see Mike in the computer room.

FCE, CAE, CPE & PET Registration

Registration for FCE, CAE, and CPE has now closed. PET registration is closing today, so please come and see me [Mike] in the computer Room to register for the exam before 16:00! Good Luck for all those who have registered!!!!

This weeks Activities!

This week between your English Language  Lessons, we have our usual free activity programme for you to attend. On Tuesday Morning and Wednesday afternoon you can visit St Johns College. Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday Morning we visit the Sedgewick Museum. Thursday Morning meet in the common room upstairs to meet with other students and in the afternoon you can visit Great St Mary’s Tower. Have a good week!!!!
