Enjoy the rich culture, history and beauty of Wales. We travel straight to North Wales and visit Conway Castle, one of the great impressive castles built in the 13th century by the English King, Edward I, to force his rule on the Welsh. Then to the charming Victorian seaside town of Llandudno where we spend the evening. On Sunday we enjoy the beautiful scenery as we drive through the Snowdonia National Park and past Mount Snowdon, the highest mountain in England and Wales before visiting Llechwedd Slate Mines at Bleanau Ffestiniog for an underground tour of its vast slate caverns.
