Teacher Profiles – John Micallef

John Micallef teachers our General English Classes at EC Cambridge. Here he tells us a little more about himself. My name’s John Micallef and I’m originally from Forest Gate in London’s east end. I’ve been working as an EFL teacher since 2004, mainly in Italy and now at EC Cambridge.  I have worked with both adult students and young learners . I have also taught tailor-made courses in various companies in Italy as well as specific technical courses with the armed forces. Don’t waste your time, be audacious, spontaneous and start to think like a native speaker immersing yourself totally in the language. Pull the language out of the books and don’t be afraid to start using it as much as possible, or that’s where it will remain! My classes are challenging, stimulating, objective orientated and fun. My favourite spot in Cambridge is King’s College Fellows’ Garden.
