Traditional English Tea at EC Cambridge

Sharing is caring!

Yesterday some of our students took a break from their CPE Cambridge English Exam preparation course to go for a Traditional English Afternoon Tea as part of our free activity programme at EC Cambridge. The students went to Aunties Tea Shop ion Cambridge and had scones with jam, clotted cream and English tea.

The English Tea is a tradition dating back centuries and in fact was eaten as long ago as the 11th Century. It is thought to have originated in Cornwall in the South West of England although people from Devon argue it was their invention. You can check out next months free activities on Facebook.
