On 21st January a carnival party was held in EC Cape Town with a  performance by the local Kaapse Klopse minstels and the famous Egg Man. The minstrels usually get together and perform at New Year into January  when there can be about 13,000 parading through the streets of Cape Town, singing, dancing and playing musical instruments.  EC Cape Town was lucky to get a small number of them to come to our party and let students know what Cape Town can offer.  In addition the ‘Egg Man’ also came and students came dressed for carnival in fancy dress. A great time was had by all.
