On the 19th May some of EC Cape Town’s teachers and students accompanied by the Dos and Ados, were amongst the invited guests at Cape Town’s Italian Film Festival, a 3 day, culturally stimulating affair, organized by the local Italian community – Regione Piemonte. Some of Italy’s most popular and award-winning films with English subtitles, one being the original version of the “Italian Job”, were screened at Cape Town’s prestigious and historical Labia Theatre on Orange. Guests were treated to a Mediterranean style buffet finger-supper and 100% organic South African wine after the screening which was accompanied by genuine interaction with the locals – in English!! Many college and university students attended too, so EC students really got a 100% FULL Immersion. A great time was had by all. EC Cape Town – Nicoletta Di Gia
