Dear EC Cape Town student The Department of Trade and Industry (the dti) is looking at the possibility of further developing Education Exports and Educational Tourism in South Africa (where international students come to South Africa to study). The purpose of this project is to understand the market and the value that the sector brings to South Africa and to make broad recommendations to the DTI on whether this is a market that should be pursued through strategic or policy interventions, and what those interventions should be. We believe that through such interventions, both international students and educational institutions hosting international students will benefit. For this we need your assistance in completing a short 15 minute digital survey. You can find this survey here – you don’t need to download or anything – all can be completed on this site! https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/International_Students_in_South_Africa Please complete the survey by the 19th May 2011 – when the DTI will need to start analysing the data! Thank you very much for participating! –The Department of Trade and Industry
