On Thursday 30 August, about 30 students joined me for the Lions Head hike.
On arrival we soon started the long ascent up to the head. It was pretty tough for some students but others soon raced ahead. I stayed with the tail enders and was forced to urge them on repeatedly as their was alot of chatting and very little walking 🙂 Eventually we all made it to the TOP!!
The view, as always, was breathtaking and the students were overwhelmed by the awesome vantage point Lions Head provided.
After taking photos we decided to stay for sunset which capped off a wonderful afternoon. We then made our way back to the much welcomed taxis awaiting us at the end of the trail.
