EC Cape Town will be celebrating World Book Day on 06 March 2014. However we will be doing it with a slight twist. Instead of everyone coming together to celebrate the joys of reading, we will also be running a competition for EC Cape Town students. This will be held on the 1st floor at Reception. World Book Day is regarded as a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and reading. It has been running for the past 17 years aiming to get people from all over the world to appreciate reading and the stories found within the pages of each book.Initiated by UNESCO, 100 countries worldwide has taken part in this awesome initiative to empower the minds of both young and old. So get involved..and remember: ‘Today a Reader, Tomorrow a Leader!’
