San Francisco City

It’s a very, very special time to visit The City by the Bay. This year, the famous symbol of San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge, celebrates its 75th anniversary!

The well-loved bridge is one of the modern Wonders of the World and something you must see during your life! In celebration of this beautiful structure, San Francisco is going festival mad in 2012!

The 75th anniversary public celebration will be a spectacular event on 27 May 2012 all across the waterfront from Fort Point to Pier 39. Activities include live music in Fisherman’s Wharf, gallery of historic images and vintage automobiles, 1930s-era music and dance festival at Pier 39 and many others. Come and be a part of history!
