1| Malta Fashion Week – May 26 to June 2

Malta Fashion Week brings out the best of the island’s designers, make-up artists, hair stylists, and social elite. It consists of one week of fashion shows, parties and events. The events finish with an awards celebration on the last day, handing out much-coveted awards to the top people in fashion. Check the official Facebook page for updates about the events, awards, and official afterparty.

2| Valletta Film Festival – June 8 to 17

The Valletta Film Festival showcases international films from countries around the world, including Chile, Poland, Malta and many more. The official competition consists of 3 sections: Best Feature Film, Best Documentary and Best Short Film. Other categories include Teens Only, where teens choose the winner for the category, and Without Borders, which this year focuses on Latin American films.

3| Isle of MTV & Malta Music Week – June 27 to July 1

Isle of MTV consists of a free concert in front of the Floriana Church of St. Publius on June 27th, this year featuring headliners Dmitri Vegas & Like Mike. Events during Malta Music Week include club nights, street concerts, and official afterparties. More details about Malta Music Week will be announced soon, but anyone interested in going to the main Isle of MTV concert can pre-register online to ensure they get a spot at this year’s event!

4| Marsovin Summer Wine Festival – July 7 to 9

The 10th anniversary of the Marsovin Summer Wine Festival comes while they are the official sponsors of Valletta 2018, celebrating Valletta as the European capital of culture for 2018. This means that the festival this year should be bigger and better than ever! Pay 16€ at the entrance for 16€ of wine tokens that allow you to try the wine selection and also receive an engraved wine glass to use during the event and to take home with you afterward.

5| Unite with Tomorrowland Malta – July 28

The world-famous festival in Belgium brings its good vibes and great music to Marsa Sports Complex with Unite with Tomorrowland Malta. Join 7 other nations all celebrating the festival at the same time around the world. Ticket sales have already begun and the line-up will be announced soon.

6| Beer Festival – July 28 to Aug 6

The 37th annual Farsons Beer Festival in Ta’Qali National Park brings together 10 days of the best local music, beer and entertainment. Entrance to the festival is free and special public transport events are available to get you there and back safely. The beer selection features over 50 award-winning beers and more than 70 artists are scheduled to perform.

7| Beaches – Anytime

Malta’s beaches range from rocky beaches great for snorkling with plenty of things to see to shimmering sandy beaches on the north of the island. Malta has even been rated one of the best diving destinations in the world, with various depths for divers of all abilities.
