In Breakfast Club today, there were 7 students present and we discussed:
> The Volcanic Ash Cloud and continuing disruption around the world
> How chimpanzees grieve for their loved ones
> Jersey Royal Potatoes
> The Election
New language which came up included:
-a wheelbarrow
– to be in mourning for someone
-spuds
– The English Channel
– a noose
If you’d like to learn new expressions like the ones above and join other EC London students for breakfast club, come to the cafe Tuesday-Friday 8.30 – 9am and join in! Tuesday and Thursday are for High Intermediate- Advanced students, and Wednesday and Friday are for Beginner-Intermediate students.
