Ever since I was a little girl I have wanted a pet dog so you can imagine how happy I was when last month we welcomed the latest addition to our household… an 8 week old puppy! Her name is Lenny and she is adorable (most of the time!). We have had her for 3 weeks now and she is learning lots of new things every day. She comes running over to you when you call her, she sits and lies down when you tell her to, she fetches a ball when you throw it and she is (almost!) house-trained too. She also does lots of naughty things like chewing our slippers, trying to eat our plants and flowers and waking us up early in the morning but generally she is pretty good! Tomorrow she will have her final injections which means that very soon we will be able to take her out for walks. I can’t wait to take her to the park near our house!
