Lord Mayor's Show & Fireworks Display 2011

Sharing is caring!

The Lord Mayor’s Show is like no other procession in the world. It is 3 miles long and nearly 800 years old!
The Lord Mayor’s procession sets off from Guildhall at 11am on November 12th. It travels down to Mansion House then crosses the City via Bank and St Pauls to deliver the new Lord Mayor to the Royal Courts of Justice on the Strand at about 12.40. After the Lord Mayor pledges loyalty, the procession sets off down the Embankment at 1pm and finishes back at Mansion House around 2.30.
At 5pm the new Lord Mayor starts a magnificent firework display over the Thames which should not be missed! The fireworks are launched between Blackfriars and Waterloo Bridge, for the best view get down to the riverside, but you can see them from all over London
