Today is Lara Day at EC London!
Staff and students at EC London are raising money for Lara’s Foundation today, by wearing colourful clothes, holding book and cake sales, and organizing games and activities. Lara’s Foundation has been set up in memory of Lara Jones, who used to teach at EC London, and whose dream it was to help people learn English. As the second most spoken language in the world, English can help people to find a job and earn money, and Lara’s Foundation will help people in South America learn English in British Council approved schools in their own country or in the UK.
