Hi – I’m Sarah Bryan, the Assistant Director of Studies at EC London and I’m climbing the 3 Peaks because I am insane! And because I think it is a fantastic challenge and a great way to raise awareness and raise money for two causes I hold close to my heart.
I am fundraising for Wirral Hospice St John’s, which is a hospice near where I’m from back oop North and a very special place. I feel very connected with the Hospice as they cared for my Dad, who died 7 years ago. He spent his last moments there and was really well looked after and we as a family really feel the Hospice is a great place and such an important place for many people – sufferers and their families. It was the only place he was at peace towards the end. I hope to raise at least £500 for them!

I am also fundraising for Lara’s Foundation – I met Lara on the DELTA in 2011, along with Joelle, and we quickly became best of friends. We then worked together at EC London and also went travelling together around Mexico – the Foundation has been set up in her memory so that her dreams can live on and help young people to access the kind of education they need.
