ECLA Teacher Feature: Michelle Flowers

Michelle Flowers has lived in Los Angeles since 2002. Before moving to Southern California, she lived in Philadelphia, New York, Rome, and Seattle. She attended the New York University for filmmaking and completed her B.A from the University of Washington, and her M.A. from Temple University in visual anthropology. Recently, she developed educational language and culture training programs for the U.S. government. This summer, she will start pursuing her doctorate in Educational Leadership for Social Justice at Loyola Marymount University. When she is not teaching or studying, Michelle loves to travel, mountain hike, and sail.
