After many of the students learnt how to make Figolli last night, today they had a chance to taste them. The reception area at EC Language House was filled with people (including staff) who wanted to try the Easter sweets. Also on offer were hot cross buns and Kwarezimal, two other traditional delicacies.
Everyone loved them, and most came back for 2nd helpings. The plates had to be refilled countless times, and some very impatient students even ate the food that was there just for display.
I think it is easy to say that the whole idea went down well, and I’m sure plenty of people will be out buying more during the Easter festivities this weekend.
