In February, a carnival is traditionally held in Valletta and Gozo. This year the dates for this fun and festivity will be held between the Thursday 12th and Tuesday 17th of February, and on the 12th February (the day before the official start) the carnival flag will be raised.
The carnival is mainly held in Valletta but it is also celebrated in the cities around the capital of Malta. During the day the activities will be held in Valletta but by night they will continue in Paceville here in St. Julian. That might be good news for all of the party people out there. You will see the carnival night goers in the clubs while still wearing their colourful costumes from their day.
