This is a unique outdoor concert, if you missed it last week you must go this Sunday. Trains, tugboats, boats moored in the Old Port for the winter, and other urban instruments will unite their sounds to create a symphony composed by Sandeep Bhagwat. He is originally from Mumbai, India and he now lives in Montreal and teaches at Concordia University. His composition is called Rives et Dérives and it’s inspired by his Indian roots. This event brings the Port of Montreal to life in the time of the year when the snow and the cold keep us inside. It’s starts a 1:30 PM at Place Royal just in front of the Pointe à Callière Museum, the closest metro is Place D’Armes on the orange line.
