The First Peoples’ Festival is a multidisciplinary event that celebrates Aboriginal cultures from throughout the three Americas. During the event, the vibrant and multicultural metropolis of Montreal becomes a point of convergence for First Nations, and a meeting place where people reinforce links of friendship and collaboration. The festival offers the public the occasion to experience First Peoples’ imaginations via: films, art shows, concerts, debates and gatherings, and other interactive activities.
The festivities are located close to Place des Arts metro station on Sainte-Catherine, Jeanne-Mance, Balmoral and De Maisonneuve Streets.
