Hurricane Sandy was a hurricane that devastated portions of the Caribbean, the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern United States, and Eastern Canada in late October 2012. Sandy was a category 2 storm at its peak intensity. Sandy is estimated to have caused a damage of at least $20 billion (USD). At least 199 people were killed along the path of the storm in seven countries.
EC Montreal will be holding a fundraiser for all those effected by Hurricane Sandy.
