Old Montreal is one of the most beautiful areas in Montreal and all Montrealers love to spend time there with their family and friends. There is always something going on in Old Montreal regardless of the time of the year or the weather.
To celebrate “the most wonderful time of the year”, various festivals and activities will take place at more than 20 indoor and outdoor entertainment venues around Old Montreal. The Christmas village will present countries and regions such as Russia, Austria, Germany, Belgium, France, Québec and their traditional dishes, drinks and much more. This will be a great chance for our EC Montreal students to have a taste of their homes or other cultures.
On Saturdays and Sundays from December 15 until December 22, outdoor choral will sing beautiful Christmas carols on Place Jacques-Cartier.
And if you missed your chance to see the fireworks in the summer time, here’s your perfect opportunity! Spectacular fireworks will take place over St.Lawrence river every Saturday from December 1 until January 5 at 8 pm.
