Nil and Anna Latorre are brother and sister from Spain participating in EC Montreal’s Young Learner’s Programme. They are delightful students who are enjoying their time in Montreal tremendously!
Here is what they would like to share with the world:
I chose Montreal because I thought I was ready to go to the other side of the world to learn both English and French. I think I learned a lot of things, especially pronunciation, grammar and how to communicate better. I improved most of all my French level thanks to my homestay family and all the contact with the other students. My favorite EC Montreal activity so far was the Jazz Festival evening activity. We had a lot of fun!!
The lessons are awesome and our teacher is super funny. We learn a lot while we are having fun at the same time! Everyone here is super friendly and kind. I made a lot of new friends and I’m having a great time!
I will definitely recommend EC Montreal to a friend. A lot of them are looking for the same kind of programme to improve their level of English and French and of course make the most of the summer vacation. Most of my friends will definitely decide to come to the EC programme. The one thing I will never forget is the homestay family that is hosting me! They are wonderful!

I chose Montreal because it is a bilingual city. I am really improving both my English and French skills here. I want to improve a lot. I think I have to try harder! My favorite activity was the Museum of Fine Arts because I love art. I really like my teacher. He is very friendly. My homestay house is just perfect! I would totally recommend EC Montreal. I have made friends with people from all over the world; Spain, Germany, Austria and Mexico!! All my new friends are so funny and friendly! I hope to keep these memories of EC Montreal forever!! I love EC Montreal!!
