Meet Graeme Acton Maclean: EC Montreal’s English Teacher!

EC Montreal is proud to introduce you to Graeme Acton Maclean, our newest member of the English teaching team!  Within a short time period, Graeme has already bonded with his work colleagues and students and has become a valuable member of our team!  We wish him much success in his new role at EC!  He is here to assist you with your English courses in Montreal!

Here is what he would like to share with all of you:

I  began my post secondary education in Vancouver, BC where I studied animation and received my bachelors degree in Media Arts at Emily Carr University of Art and Design. While living in Vancouver I had the opportunity to teach art and computer animation to children. This was when I realized how much I enjoyed teaching and how meaningful and rewarding it can be. Not long after that I moved to Barcelona, Spain to get certified to teach English as a second language and gained experience teaching adult learners. From there I moved to a small city in southern Thailand called Phatthalung where I taught English, math, and computer animation to teenagers, which confirmed my passion for teaching and inspired me to continue.
Teaching English at EC Montreal has been an excellent experience. There is a very warm and welcoming atmosphere, a friendly community of students, and very talented and experienced teachers. Montreal is a very diverse city and truly bilingual, which makes it a great place to study English and French.
