I  began my post secondary education in Vancouver, BC where I studied animation and received my bachelors degree in Media Arts at Emily Carr University of Art and Design. While living in Vancouver I had the opportunity to teach art and computer animation to children. This was when I realized how much I enjoyed teaching and how meaningful and rewarding it can be. Not long after that I moved to Barcelona, Spain to get certified to teach English as a second language and gained experience teaching adult learners. From there I moved to a small city in southern Thailand called Phatthalung where I taught English, math, and computer animation to teenagers, which confirmed my passion for teaching and inspired me to continue.
Teaching English at EC Montreal has been an excellent experience. There is a very warm and welcoming atmosphere, a friendly community of students, and very talented and experienced teachers. Montreal is a very diverse city and truly bilingual, which makes it a great place to study English and French.
