Kaede is a lovely student from Japan who came to study English in Canada at EC Montreal for the length of 16 weeks. Here is what she has to say about her experience at EC Montreal.
I originally planned on going to UK, but it was too difficult to get a student VISA. I really love the ambiance of Europe, so I wanted to go somewhere that has the European feels. Therefore, here I am in beautiful Montreal.
I came to study ESL in Montreal. I’m not quite sure myself how much I improved, but lately my teachers compliment more on my writing in many occasions.
I really enjoy school activities such as Welcome Chocolate, Maple Festivals…activities that involve a lot of sweets!
I’m not quite comfortable giving presentation in front of the class yet, but I enjoy group discussion and presenting it together with my classmates. Everyone from EC and people in Montreal, they are all super nice people, so I’m so happy I chose to come to Montreal. I’m interested in catching Film Festivals in Montreal this summer as well as other events held here. I’d love to enjoy the rest of my stay and when I go back to Japan, I’ll keep practicing English so I won’t forget what I’ve learnt here.
