We are delighted to introduce you to Mrs. Carmelita Bascombe, an EC Montreal homestay hostess. Sh has been hosting students for the past 15 years!
Here is what she would like to share with all of you about her EC experience:
I was introduced to EC Montreal by one of my church friends. I have been hosting students for 15 years. I love to entertain and with that I open up my home for students. I love being their mom while they are away from their parents.
I love to cook and feed my students. I always make sure they eat a lot and never go hungry!
I would definitely recommend hosting to my friends because of all the wonderful students I have met. They are such nice people. If you welcome them and care about them they will appreciate you as a host.
I have been working with EC for a very long time and thank God for EC. It is such a great organization and nice school.
My favorite moment is when the student comes home from school. I love being at home to greet them and to ask them about their day. I welcome them with a hug and ask them how they spent their day and how they are getting along with their English.
