EC Montreal was delighted to read the news that Nestpick has named Montreal the 2nd best city in the world for young people! Berlin, Germany came in first place.
Nestpick is an online search engine that looked at 17 different factors to determine the rankings. The rankings fell into 4 main categories; work, affordability, openness and fun.
Nestpick’s representative, Ricky Sutton, said that openness and tolerance for the LGBT communities, immigration and contraception laws really appeal to young people. He also stated that Montreal’s clubs, festival scene and thriving start-up culture as well as its bilingualism and overflowing culture were the reasons Montreal ranked so highly.
This news makes us very happy as we are always promoting Montreal as an excellent destination for our 16+ and Young Learner students. Montreal is safe, affordable, breathtakingly beautiful and most importantly fun! Our students this summer are having an incredible time!
