Last Friday we had another graduation ceremony for our students.. To see our students leaving is always sad but we know they will continue practicing and using everything they learned in EC Montreal. So, we asked some of them to share with us about the EC Experience.
We like to listen to our students and know what they liked during their stay. So, we invited them to give us a feedback on the services we offered. Now, let’s see what else they told us last week!!
I chose EC Montreal because they have the option to learn French and English. I wanted to improve my French and practice more my English. Even though my main goal was French I think I was also able to get better in English. The teachers in the school are great and I like that all of them are from different countries so you have the opportunity to learn from their culture. My accommodation was awesome, I was really lucky to be with Ms. Elisabetta, my host-mom. She was so friendly and great, I hope every student stays at her place! I chose Montreal because it is a great opportunity to learn languages as English and French because this is a multicultural city. I love EC Montreal, I had an excellent experience during this time and I will love to come back soon!! I made a lot of friends from different countries: Italy, Brazil, Colombia… and they are really friendly too! I am really happy because I improved my English level. It was very short time but now I have more security to talk because in the classroom you must practice speaking and the teachers always invite you to talk and think about experiences you can share with the partners. I loved the workshops because they were free and also a extra time to improve more my knowledge because it is a specific workshop to improve specific topics. The workshops were also relaxing and I liked the teachers’ style. – Rocio from Colombia
It was a really nice experience the best of my life. First, I was in EC Vancouver to learn English. The, I came to Montreal to practice more. It was mu first time in Canada and I really can say that I learned a lot and very well, now I can speak with confidence. Teachers are really kind, even if I couldn’t speak well or explain properly myself as much as I wanted, they were always nice and kind, they waited for me to finish explaining what I wanted. I also was able to learn French here in Montreal. French is worse than English, haha!. It is a hard language with hard pronunciation, but my teacher was great and patient, that encouraged me to say things and participate. I would definitely recommend EC Montreal to my friends back home! I hope my little brother comes the next year!! I appreciate everything the school did for me.
