Welcome Back to the EC Montreal Junior Section! We are thrilled to be back. Another summer of fun and excitement with the fabulous teens of EC! The Young Learners/Teen Language Adventure programme has begun again, for its 2013 installment. Our programme this week kicked off with a great Canada Day celebration. It was a terrific chance for the new students to see what Canada is all about! We welcome students from many different countries, including Mexico, Brazil, Spain, Austria, Germany, France and Bermuda! We are looking forward to a great summer and many new memories. We hope you’ll follow along with all the fun 🙂
As July 1st falls on the weekend, we celebrated Canada Day a little early at EC Montreal! We had a party in the student lounge for all the students and staff. We prepared hot dogs and served different flavors of potato chips! Paula did such a great job with the hot dogs, students were coming back for 2nds, 3rds and 4ths!! The entire school smelled absolutely delicious!! A great time was had by all!! Happy Canada Day everyone!!
Canada Day Parade Montreal 2012: To attend the 2012 Canada Day Parade, just show up on July 1st at 11 a.m. on Ste. Catherine, between Fort and Peel for a peek, with the parade officially starting at the corner of Fort and Ste. Catherine Street. Enjoy the celebrations!! Happy Canada Day!!
July 1st is Canada Day! Make it your celebration! From the Pacific to the Atlantic, across six time zones, millions of Canadians will be celebrating the 145th anniversary of Canada on Sunday, July 1st. Canada Day will take on many forms in Montréal and, aside from its grand events planned in the Old Port, festivities will also take place in many other neighborhoods, parks and streets of Montréal. Make it your celebration! Excellent for family gatherings, the docks in the Old Port of Montréal will overflow with all sorts of activities taking place throughout the entire day! Do not miss the official ceremonies, the musical events featuring local artists and the fireworks display in the evening!
