The University Foundation Program will be starting its new session on May 29. The program is an intensive 12 week course that is designed to help students acquire the skills needed to succeed in an American University. We will focus on academic skills that include summarizing, synthesizing, note-taking, essay writing, oral presentation skills and help with the application process. We do this by attending lectures throughout New York, guided self study as well as electives in cultural studies and study skills. Although the program requires extra work from the students, the benefits to students are incredible. So if anyone is looking for a challenge in order to improve their skills in English ask for more information at the Academic Office or talk to Nathan when you see him. Hope to see you there!
