Though you may not have guessed it from the calm and confident expressions on your English teachers’ faces, teaching isn’t easy. Each and every one of the teachers at EC New York spends hours preparing for their classes, and hours more in ongoing occupational development workshops.
Thursday afternoons are dedicated to meetings where teachers can ask questions and share ideas, and once a month there is a workshop where we focus on specific elements of teaching English as a foreign language. We also have ongoing observations and reviews to offer tailored feedback. All of this is to ensure that the language instruction your receive is of the absolute best quality. We want to make 100% certain that you leave EC knowing more than when you came.
