Holiday Foods

Our staff here at EC New York English School love the holidays and we love to eat! When the holidays roll around, many families in the United States roast a ham or stuff a turkey, and serve them up with sweet or mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie. Each culture has its own holidays and its own traditions. Even when cultures share holidays, like Christmas and New Year’s Day, the foods used to celebrate tend to be very different based on history, myth and geography. Many major holidays, like Hanukkah, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve, are celebrated in nations across the globe, but food traditions vary from place to place.

What did you have to eat this Holiday season?! 🙂
