Nick studied in our Semi-Intensive English course here at EC New York. Here’s Nick in his own words about his experience:
New York: it’s an amazing city, the capital of the world, the place where people from all the world congregates. To my knowledge, this has been my best trip and experience that has ever happened to me before. You will be able to try new tastes (food from all around the world), different cultures, and new experiences and lead an exciting life in this cosmopolitan city.
If this is your first time in New York you probably will be scared for the size of the city, but in reality you get used to it so fast, the excellent public transportation system makes studying English here something very easy and efficient. You will never get bored. Every day there are new things to do, new places to discover; New York is always changing.
EC give you a unique opportunity to discover New York and learn at the same time, I came here 4 months ago to improve my English for business purposes and I found a very kind staff, amazing and cool teachers, myriad things to do, to learn. The electives class is a feature from EC that I really love, specific classes for improving your skills or weakness in English or just because you like it and it’s a different way to learn.
It will probably be hard to communicate at the beginning with your classmates or EC staff if your level of English is low but they will help you and with their patient effort, you will learn very fast and communicate, make new friends or just share experiences. It will be so easy and fun and without you realizing, you will handle more English every day.
I’m so glad for having been here for these 4 months. I only regret I can not stay here for more time. I’m sure that if you want to learn English and experience an amazing city this will be the best option with the help of EC. Thank you New York and Thank you EC.
